You can buy a belt from a department store, only to be back six months later because it fell apart. Or, you can buy a belt from those of us who still believe in making the real thing and it will last you many years. I always say, if you are really hard on my belts, you will get 10 years out of them. If you take care of them, you'll get 20 or more. Like someone said, "I am too poor to buy cheap!"
So, what makes my belts different?
-I use the absolutely finest quality Bridle Leather cowhide. The leather I use costs more, but it is hands down the best quality belt leather I have ever seen.
-I cut the hides myself. This is full grain cowhide, nothing split and glued together. No funny business.
-Most of my colors I dye by hand; each one is slightly unique from the rest.
-I slick the edges of my belts to absolute perfection. You can feel the difference.
-I coat the edges with a durable acrylic product designed for leather edges. It frames the color of the belt nicely and makes the smooth edges much more durable.
-I use only Solid Brass hardware on my belts. (No junk hardware on any product I make.)
-And as always, I guarantee everything I make for life against defects.
BEST: Measure a belt of similar width that fits you well. (See last picture titled "Measuring Belts")
GOOD: Select measurement according to pants size.
-I will custom fit your belt to any measurement you need.
-I fit you to the center hole so that you will have 2 holes on either side.
-For smaller waists, I punch the holes closer together. You will definitely appreciate it.
-As a courtesy, I do not charge extra for extra long belts. Believe me, I can make a belt for anyone!

I am currently using a 1/2 inch tall letter set with my heat stamping machine. It stamps cleanly, perfectly and beautifully every time. You can see an example in the color swatches photo on any listing in my shop.

Properly cared for, my products will last a lifetime or three. We have seen leather items from the civil war come in the shop that are still in excellent condition because they were cared for properly!
Over time, leather will dry out and needs to have oil put back into it. As a courtesy, I sell Neatsfoot Oil Compound to care for your purchase; it is the oil I use every day because of its superior quality and I highly recommend it.

**Never use Mink Oil on my bags because it will rot the nylon thread and is NOT covered in my lifetime guarantee against defects.
Water will not damage my products. The finish I use is water resistant, but water may penetrate the leather some. The lining I use is a waterproof rip-stop nylon which will keep out the rain so you need not worry about your electronics and other items getting wet when you get caught out in the rain. Because, lets face it, that happens to all of us!
Water will cause the leather to dry out more quickly, so if your bag gets wet frequently, you should put oil back into it more often. (see Leather Care above)
My goal is to make the absolute best quality products possible; therefore, I guarantee everything I make for life against defects in materials and workmanship. With this in mind, I use only the finest quality leather, heavy nylon thread, rip-stop nylon lining, solid brass and stainless steel hardware available. If something goes wrong and it is my fault, I will happily fix it for free!
How long will it take to ship my order?
Some products I have in stock and ship as soon as I get the order. But, because I offer many colors and customizations, most items I make to order.
Usually it takes me about a week to get orders shipped, but it may take as long as 3 weeks, depending on how many orders I have to make and my craft show schedule:
