It's fun, it's leather, it's a great conversation starter!
So, my wife comes into the shop and says "you've got to make this!" She is holding a leather lunch bag my dad gave me 25 years ago. Every time we used our leather lunch bag, people would always say, "cool! Where did you get that?" So here it is, the leather lunch bag.
These lunch bags are made with quality suede, which is soft and easily cleaned with a stiff brush and a little water if necessary. They are simple, unlined bags.
Oh, and don't throw it away when you finish your lunch!
REGULAR SIZE: Measuring 6 1/2 inches wide, 9 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches deep, this bag is sized perfectly to carry lunch for one.
LARGE SIZE: Measuring 8 inches wide, 12 inches tall and 5 1/2 inches deep, this larger bag is sized to carry a container or two, a coffee thermos or even a 6-pack of your favorite beverage.
MONOGRAM (up to 3 letters): Customers frequently request to have their initials on my lunch bags. I stamp the initials onto a piece of oak-tanned leather and then sew it as a patch, usually on the bottom left corner of the bag. If you would like a monogram, Leave a note at checkout specifying what letters you would like. If you want a contrasting color for the patch, also mention that as well; otherwise, I will dye it to match the bag itself.
LIFETIME GUARANTEE: I care a great deal about the quality of my work; all my products are backed by a lifetime guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship. With this in mind, my lunch bags are made with superior quality suede and heavy duty nylon thread.

I do quite a bit of custom work. While custom work costs significantly more because of the extra time involved, you can get exactly what you want. I can do something simple such as changing inside pockets for carrying specific items, or I can design something completely new for you. Feel free to contact me to see what may be possible!
*Please note that I cannot accept returns on custom orders. (I will of course happily remedy any error on my part.)

Properly cared for, my products will last a lifetime or three. We have seen leather items from the civil war come in the shop that are still in excellent condition because they were cared for properly!
Over time, leather will dry out and needs to have oil put back into it. As a courtesy, I sell Neatsfoot Oil Compound to care for your purchase; it is the oil I use every day because of its superior quality and I highly recommend it.
You can find Neatsfoot Oil and other products in the LEATHER CARE section of my shop:
**Never use Mink Oil on my bags because it will rot the nylon thread and is NOT covered in my lifetime guarantee against defects.
Water will not damage my products. The finish I use is water resistant, but water may penetrate the leather some. The lining I use is a waterproof rip-stop nylon which will keep out the rain so you need not worry about your electronics and other items getting wet when you get caught out in the rain. Because, lets face it, that happens to all of us!
Water will cause the leather to dry out more quickly, so if your bag gets wet frequently, you should put oil back into it more often. (see Leather Care above)
My goal is to make the absolute best quality products possible; therefore, I guarantee everything I make for life against defects in materials and workmanship. With this in mind, I use only the finest quality leather, heavy nylon thread, rip-stop nylon lining, solid brass and stainless steel hardware available. If something goes wrong and it is my fault, I will happily fix it for free!
How long will it take to ship my order?
Some products I have in stock and ship as soon as I get the order. But, because I offer many colors and customizations, most items I make to order.
Usually it takes me about a week to get orders shipped, but it may take as long as 3 weeks, depending on how many orders I have to make and my craft show schedule:
If you are in a hurry for any reason, feel free to contact me and I will be happy to ensure you get your order on time!
